I recently visited Lakme Salon for a hair care session and had the absolute pleasure of getting my services done by Nikhat. She did an incredible job, and I couldn't be happier with the results! I opted for a haircut, hair spa, massage, and a blow-dry, and Nikhat excelled in every single area: 1. Haircut: She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, keeping the length perfect while adding beautiful shape and movement. Her precision is commendable. 2. Hair Spa & Massage: This was pure bliss. Her massage technique was incredibly relaxing, hitting all the right pressure points. It felt deeply rejuvenating and completely melted away my stress. 3. Absolutely the worst and most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had at a salon. I specifically booked a Rica wax package (their premium wax) along with peel-off underarm waxing. The total package cost was ₹1500. Before starting, I clearly selected these services at reception and informed them that I would be using a gift voucher. They confirmed everything without any issue. However, once I was taken to the waxing room by Seema, I noticed the wax being used was green in color. I immediately questioned her because Rica wax has a distinct appearance. She confidently told me, “Ma’am, this is the new green wax, it’s better than Rica.” I even told her that I always opt for Rica wax, but she kept insisting that this was superior and not the regular wax. I trusted her. Then came the most shocking part. When I asked for peel-off underarm wax (which was included in the package), she bluntly said, “Ma’am, you are using a gift voucher, so we can’t give you that. You’re not paying for it.” Excuse me? A gift voucher is prepaid money. It is still payment. How can you confirm the service at reception and then deny it midway? The audacity to say I’m “not paying” was extremely insulting and unprofessional. When I confronted her about this misleading behavior, there was not even a basic apology. Instead, she casually said she was “told to do so.” This is outright misrepresentation of services and extremely poor customer handling. If you are charging for premium services, deliver them. And if you accept gift vouchers, don’t discriminate against customers who use them. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this salon to anyone who expects honesty or professionalism.
